Located in La Pankana, La Calera, Córdoba, the residence occupies a challenging mountainous site where the architecture responds directly to the terrain rather than attempting to dominate it. The design concept was built around the idea of breaking away from conventional residential forms, placing concrete as the central architectural expression. Through careful manipulation of volume, proportion and light, Black House transforms a private residence into a sculptural object within the landscape.

One of the residence's most striking elements is the suspended staircase, positioned within a dramatic double-height space. Supported against a concrete wall, the staircase creates a visual dialogue between weight and lightness — appearing almost detached from the massive black concrete structure surrounding it. This composition allows natural light to penetrate deeply into the interior, transforming circulation into an architectural experience.

Black House demonstrates how contemporary brutalism can evolve beyond pure material expression, becoming a refined dialogue between landscape, technology and human experience.
